Solved Hinge Has Detached And Looks Like A Ribbon Cable Has Severed New Nintendo 2Ds Xl

My son’s New 2DS XL has recently been “dropped” and one of the hinges has come undone (not sure if we are missing a piece that holds it in places as it can just pull away - I wasn’t there when it was dropped/thrown). I can see a bit of orangey-brown ribbon cable peeping from the screen-side hinge. This has been severed by the looks of it. What are my chances of repairing this ? Thanks in advance.
