I still need to check the exact model of the laptop but I want to replace a cracked trackpad on my partner’s macbook pro. Just wondering if you need to replace the whole top or if I only need a new trackpad. I don’t really feel confident enough to amend the keyboard replacement tutorial for a trackpad. The cracked trackpad still works atm but if its affordable I’d prefer to replace it myself.
