Hello! I recently found a MBP 15, mid 2010 (2.66 GHz Core i7) in the recycling room of my building and I’m trying to get it to work again. The only problem I could identify is that it doesn’t recognise neither the optical drive nor the internal hard drive. (But it works with hard drive in USB) Looking closely at the logic board, I found 3 capacitors (1, 2, 3 in the pictures) and 1 resistor (4 on the pictures) that seem to be damaged or missing. Could anyone with the schematics help me identify those components? Many many thanks in advance :) Raphaël

@grimfandangros this is only to identify the components not to troubleshoot your board:

  1. Reference Designator C4515 is a 0.01UF 10% 16V ceramic capacitor in a 0402 package
  2. Reference Designator C4516 is a 0.01UF 10% 16V ceramic capacitor in a 0402 package
  3. Reference Designator C4595 is a 0.068UF 10% 20V ceramic capacitor in a 0402 package
  4. Reference Designator R4595 is a 100K 5% 1/16W resistor in a 0402 package
