I was taking my ps4 apart for cleaning when I accidentally pulled too hard and ripped the connecter from the motherboard. Do any know if it’s fixable or do I have to buy another motherboard.
As long as the pads are still on the board, you can repair it fairly easily. The 4 legs on the connector just need to be soldered back to the 4 pads on the board.
I would solder a" brand new" connector to the cable at the very least and make sure to check the board for obvious damage first? If the mobo is . Then donate the machine to your local repair shop for the afternoon! D
