I just replaced my lightning headphone jack assembly on my iPhone 5c. Everything went well and I do not think that I damaged anything. I tested the home button (reason for the replacement- I broke one of the prongs/pins off when replacing the battery) and that worked. Tested Siri, mic, speaker, etc… all worked fine. Attempted to use my headphones a little later and they don’t work. Tested multiple sets of headphones and a rca cable to connect to my car stereo and those didn’t work. Just a bad headphone jack? Should I open it all up and take a look inside? I can live without the headphones honestly, but would be nice if they worked.

I think your replacement headphone jack is just defective or you did not reinstall it correctly. If you did this repair yourself, I guess open it up again and check out the jack.
