Long story short: WiFi was greyed out and read on here that I needed to replace the antenna (iPhone 6s Wi-Fi Diversity Antenna Replacement). Anyway I did it and all seemed to have gone well however: Phone wouldnt power on so plugged in and switched on fine. No discovered not only does the wifi still not work, the power button volume and the mute button have all stopped working. Any help would be much appreciated as I feel I’ve just wasted $300 and going to have trade it in for $20 :(

Not a big deal. You damaged that cable for those things. I mean, you have to remove basically everything to get it out, and the batteries are nice n tricky to get out, if you don’t do them all the time. Also double check your connections to make sure you did a good job of getting those back in. I’ll post some guides and parts. If you don’t feel comfortable. Them bring it to your good local repair shop. Check their reviews. As for your wifi, well let’s double check your work, make sure you put that antennae on there the way it’s supposed to go iPhone 6s Audio Control Cable and Brackets iPhone 6s Upper Component Cable Replacement iPhone 6s Wi-Fi Diversity Antenna Replacement

You can’t fix grey wifi by replacing the antenna, it’s like your car won’t start and you replace the tires. This is board problem, find board repair guys to fix it for you.
