I have a Chuwi HI10 Plus 10.8’ screen. It feel about 2’ onto a soft carpet and the screen now has 2 cracks across the screen and now the touch screen does not work. Chuwi will not respond to any correspondence I have used. I need to replace the screen. Anyone know the manufacturer and part number of this screen and where I can get one? Thanks!

Here are a few links to some replacement digitizer’s for this device the Chuwi hi10 plus. This is the part you want if the LCD still displays an image correctly but the front glass and digitizer we’re damaged and the screen no longer responds to touch properly. If the LCD is damaged and does not display an image correctly you will also want to replace the LCD. I only gave links to replacement digitizer parts because I assume your LCD is functional. If the LCD was damaged too let me know and I can help find a replacement LCD and supply you with some links. http://m.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=Chuwi+https://m.dhgate.com/product/wholesale-1

After ordering 2 screens finally found the right one on Ebay. Replacement is NOT for amateurs! This requires a complete disassembly of the computer. I tried to remove the digitizer from that side of the screen but the plastic cover was the only thing coming off. Once I got the back off and had the motherboard exposed, I had to disconnect 5 ribbon cables. Two of the connector clamps broke off one of which was for the digitizer. Once I had the display screen removed and only the digitizer and plastic “frame” was left I was able to remove the screen. I then put the computer back together except for the back. The digitizer did not work at first. I was able to position the ribbon cable so there was a slight downward force and that fixed the issue. I then glued the cable to the connector. All connectors have some glue on them. I think this is what caused the clamps to break. So I have the digitizer working but now I have a new problem. The left 25% of the display is dimmed more than the rest of the display. This is on Windows and Android. I have reset all cables (and glued) but I can’t get this new problem to go away. Anyone have an idea what could have caused this? The display was working before I replaced the digitizer. Has some happened to the screen during this replacement that could have caused this?
