Chosen Solution
After replacing one of my customer’s 6S plus screens, the touch ID function is no longer working. Is this a known issue with all 6S plus aftermarket screens? Please let me know if you have had a completely successful repair using an aftermarket screen on the 6S plus.
I’ve had plenty of success using third party vendors, from Shen Zhen. However, the times that they failed, were painful and embarrassing. Also, I couldn’t promote my product as being oem quality, and i can charge more than Apple. Because I use the same parts, and repair hours faster than them
The only secsess I have had replacing the screen are the ones were I kept the original home button . this issue has been around since the touch ID function came out on the iphone then for a while error 53 made it even worse if you replaced the home button but that issues kinda resolved but not the fact that the only fix for the screen being broke is to rescue the original home button.
