Need to ask if anybody knows the impedance rating of each of the eight (8) one (1) inch speakers on the Harmon Kardon Soundsticks II? Is it 4 Ohms or 8 Ohms? Looked every where without success and good grief even Harmon Kardon don’t even know!! If anybody also knows a good source to replace them please share that info. Thank you Update (07/17/2020) All; Found out the speakers are 8 Ohms impedance. Ordered 8 on eBay from a company in China and installed them within 60 minutes. Soundsticks II never sounded better. There are plastic 4 clips holding down each speaker and care must be taken. Best to use a small screwdriver to gently push one clip away from the speaker housing while pulling up and using a finger to push away the adjacent clip as well. Bonus: Each speaker removed has a very powerful permanent magnet that I now use as a fancy decoration piece. Mac
Hi @maczones , Here’s a lot of info about a Soundsticks (not a Soundsticks II) that may help. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Driver Speakers link. In there it states (and shows in the images) that the speakers are 8 Ohm There is a part # 300-0019-002 on the speaker but I got no results when searching using it, unless you can read German which I think leads here as a substitute but you better double check it
