Chosen Solution
The hard drive in my ipod classic 60gb has failed, i have got a new replacement (240gb). I am having issues with it working and am wondering if i have to update my firmware or format the drive in some way, also how would i do such things as the original hard drive is no more..
No Need for any more help on this, solved it.. I’m an idiot… put the hard drive in the wrong way around,.. no wonder it wouldn’t work, but thanks for your help anyway… Moral of the story, don’t drink and fix at the same time…..
