Using super duper to swap all the data on my new hard drive from the old one and I keep getting a code after 2 hours and 37 minutes have tried deleting the code still hasn’t worked how do I go about it? Reformat the new drive, use your working drive or create a bootable installer USB drive to boot up the system, then after reformatting & installing a new OS use Apples migration assistant to move your stuff over. Even before doing all of this it’s likely you need a new HD SATA cable as they will appear to work but when stressed doing large file movements fail to work cleanly. Input / Output error means there is a part of your existing hard drive that can no longer be read. For a quick short cut, from Finder select Go –> Go to Folder. Enter “/Library/Messages/PlugIns/AIM.impreferencepane/Contents/Resources/Italian.lproj/” in the box without the quotes. Move AIMPreferencesView.nib to Trash and empty the Trash. You can reinstall AIM on the new hard drive. Also, I don’t think you need Italian anyway.
