I cannot see the transparent tape by which we normally pull out the internal hard disk. As this hard disk is not the original one that the computer came with I think maybe it was wrongly placed leaving the tape beneath it. Now I want to replace this hard disk but I’m unable to get it out after removing the retainer. What do I do?
Put your hand over the drive and turn it over. It should drop right out. Now =, since there are known HD cable issues, why do you want it out? Talk to us first before you spend any money, we might know some things about this machine that you may not be aware of yet ;-)
