Chosen Solution
I replaced the digitiser on an iPad 4 a few months back for a friend of my mothers and it was fine. Working great for a few months then suddenly she comes back to me telling me it’s stopped working and only works sporadically and randomly. Having reset the whole iPad I can see that the top two thirds of the iPad don’t work at all. But the bottom third does! Anyone have any solutions? A new Digitizer?
New digitizer should solve this. They may have dropped it, but you may have also got a cheap part or installed the flex cable incorrectly, if not folded correctly it can get stuck in between the frame and digitizer itself and cause damage to the digitizer.
