Has anyone else had issues repairing the screens on the SE? It seems that the screens all have the same issue - static lines and exactly half black screens. Thanks for any feedback!
Even if they say the screens for IPhone 5S are interchangeable with the SE that is not always true. If you have some old batch of IPhone 5s screens that could be your problem. Some screens work some don’t. Be careful also to the front mic , SE one is different than the one in 5S.
You have to use the front camera microphone assembly from the old SE screen to the new screen. Can’t use a 5S front camera assembly as the microphone pinouts are different. Also you can only use Aftermarket SE screen, Original SE screen, Original 5S screens on the iPhone SE. Aftermarket 5S screens will cause LCD display errors if used on a SE.
