I have a hackintosh as an HTPC with a ASUS P5N7A-VM motherboard. Enclosed in a small media center case which means I only have half height options for an internal wireless card. running OSX 10.5.6 (soon to be 10.5.8 once i get that crossed off my list as I am not sure that upgrade will not cause any problems). So if anyone has a suggestion for a 1X or standard PCI half height wireless card that would be “good & easy” please make a suggestion. Please don’t misunderstand, i have combed the forums and google. I thought I would ask here since a strait forward answer isn’t forthcoming with the plethora of debate and contradiction about this topic. An internal option is not really needed just whatever works best, if some type of USB option is what would work best, anything of that type would be fine with me. Wireless G too for that matter since it will be temporary. lastly, my gigabit ethernet port works just fine, and I would prefer to use it and I will. I just will not be doing that anytime soon so here I am. thank you in advance. cheers.

If you can’t find a compatible PCI card that’ll work nice, then I’d suggest you get a USB wireless card, you can add an extra port inside and leave it in the tower, that way you won’t always have something sticking out. If you’re want a nice cheap one I’d suggest this, but if you want a more expensive one from a larger company with better support I’d suggest this one.
