Hi, Do you have any guide, for replacing the GSM & WiFi Antenna of iPhone 2G device. I have searched all over internet, but I can’t find any useful guide for this problem. I have to change the antenna, because most of the time, the device is with “No Service” status. Thanks for your precious help, Andi Qirjazi
The antenna is part of the display assembly you can use the display assembly guide to get to the antenna. but, there are 3 possible hardware problems that could led to the problem you’re writing about. defective antenna faulty or loose connectors/cables defective communications board replacing the antenna isn’t hard and if you see the replacement antenna, you should be able to figure out how to replace it ;-)
I see, Thanks for the information. Might be cables issue, because one of the connection (the one on the left that in the picture is seen clearly on the left - bottom is disconnected and seems it’s the problem of the joint point in the sticker. Is it easy to change the white cables? Thanks again for your precious help. Andi P.S. If you want my old phone, don’t give me such valuable advices. :-P
