Hello, I recently noticed a grey / brownish spot on my macbook air M1 2020 screen. At first I thought it was just dust stuck on or between the screen protector, but after removing the screen protector and cleaning the screen, the stain remains! Here’s photos for reference, it’s where the mouse is pointing at.
I suspect this is not hot pixel related because of the the shape and size, but I’m not entirely sure. If anyone have any ideas to how to remove this stain, as I can’t afford a screen replacement, that would be gladly appreciated! For more context, I use this macbook for work everyday and store it in a protective pouch. Thank you so much in advance ❤️
Agreed it’s a bug! I would see if a short blast of compressed air can move it the the side. Be careful if you use a can of can’d air as you don’t want the liquid to squirt out as that will leave a stain.
