My phone is cracked really bad in the front and back. Now it has a permanent greancolor line across the screen.It also had one black spot and i can’t see anything behind that spot. When i use my phone a green screen flickers and then covers my entire screen. while this is happening my screen still works, i can feel the vibrations when i touch the screen. Will replacing the screen fix these problems or do i need a new phone?
From my experience the only way to fix this issue is to replace the display, that includes the LCD and Digitizer. I have found this is a fairly complicated repair if you do not know what you are doing and I would recommend getting it repaired by a professional.
Try cranking up the brightness. Helped me with the flashing green screen
Get the camera to turn on and the glitch will usually stop. That’s how I’ve been fixing mine
The same thing happens to me. I think the only way to fix it is to replace the display. It’s been like this for months, and nothing helps.
I have this same problem but with a s9 would it be cheaper to buy a drifrent phone or stick with repairing it
My s8 has a very light green screen over almost the full screen. There is a 0.5cm line at the top that isn’t like this. One of my classmates dropped it a few weeks ago and smashed the top corner, I have had this phone for over 2 years and it has been in almost perfect condition. So I think my classmate dropping it is the reason its broke. I was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions on how to fix this? My mum freaked out when the corner smashed and I do not want show her what I’ve done to this phone. Any help is greatly appreciated
