Hey August, Great question! It’s important to find screens that are both cost-effective and quality-driven. iFixit has great quality screens but we’re a little pricey on the retail side. If you’re a repair business you can and should check out iFixit Pro, where you can get access to wholesale parts and tools. It won’t help on the shipping side from our United States store, but perhaps you can mitigate that by joining Pro and purchasing from our EU store (http://eustore.ifixit.com)

Sure thing, this image shows three highlighted areas on the top of an iPhone screen. This one is an iPhone 6, but this applies to basically iPhone 5 and newer. The red circle represents the Centering Ring which keeps your front camera in the right position so it’s not obstructed by te frame of the screen or bumped out of place. The blue circle represents the proximity sensor box (prox box) which is used to hold the sensor that tells the phone to lock the screen when you make a call and adjusts brightness depending on your ambience. The white arrow points to the earpiece gasket which holds a mesh covering that you can see on the front-side of the screen. This ensures audio comes through to your ears clearly but not abrasively and that the secondary microphone (Siri) can hear you properly.
