So i’m looking to buy a new battery for my old iPhone, and along the usual 1430mAh i’ve notice a lot of ‘Gold’ battery with high capacity of 2680mAh… The first thought comes to mind that is a scam, but the seller have positive feedback… What is going on?
More likely to damage your phone I would stay well away from that. If apple could make money on supplying a better battery do you not think they would!
I bought one. It was a scam, an ordinary 1430mah battery with a label on it saying it was higher. if you google ‘iphone reports high capacity battery as 1430 mah’ you’ll find plenty of videos by people who got ripped off.
