Hello, I am going to install the new LCD screen to replace my broken one. Can anyone let me know any tips of DOs and DONTs? For example, the screen cannot be flipped more than 90 degrees because it will damage the ribbon. Any other tips I should know?

The best tip is to follow this guide very carefully. The iPad Air doesn’t have many gotcha’s but consider these: Always disconnect/isolate the battery before disconnecting/connecting the LCDThe LCD is very fragile, handle with careThe screen flips to the right and the LCD flips to the bottom so you will need an extra hand or something to lean the LCD on until everything is disconnectedIf you damage the digitizer during removal, don’t buy a cheap digitizer (you will regret it)You have to be careful with how you fold the digitizer and home button flexes when re-assembling (they fold towards the inside of the deviceYou will need to remove the old adhesive and clean the ridge with acetone/IPA to remove all of the residue. Then apply a good quality adhesive like this Tesa 61395 Tape you can find here on iFixit or pre-cut 3M tape from Bowler-Tech, which is what I use.
