I am 16 and started a small resale business and also do repairs. I borrowed money from family to buy a cracked s7 edge to do a glass only replacement on and resell without realising how hard it is to do. I only have the basic tools (heat plate, thin wire, loca remover). Does anyone have any tips on how to make sure it goes right? If I mess it up I have no other way of paying the money back (ik it was stupid to borrow money to do this). I can only find a few videos about this and most of them show either loads of machinery or different techniques and I don’t know which is the best way to do it.
@nathanhoward can it be done? Yes but if you have never done this screen it is pretty tough to do. Patience and the right temperatures will increase your chance of success. Check this video for an idea how to use it with the wire etc. Slightly different model and easier than yours.
