Hi all, just attempted my first glass only repair on a Galaxy S5, and I thought that everything was going well, but I ended up with two vertical arcing light spots on either side of the screen, visible even with the power off. Could the heat have been too high? I had the hot plate set at 85C. Any input would be appreciated. Update (06/26/2017)

Yes, you had the hotplate turned up too high. It should have been around 60-65C. I think you warped it.
