Hi guys I tried to do glass swap on my iPhone 6S and all was going well until I accidentally removed the white panel from the back of the LCD, rather than take the whole LCD off which is a real pain. Can this be fixed or resolved? I have since removed the whole lot, but it appears almost as though there are lines now on the foil area backing, almost like it’s cracked below. I can’t seem to get the phone to power on either, and before it worked 100% of the time. Many thanks for your help Rob

Your best bet is to buy a replacement screen assembly from a reputable retailer. Glass only is a terrible idea, especially on an iPhone 6S. Its never going to look right and chances are it won’t act right either. You separated the backlight from the LCD and it sounds like you also broke the backlight. As far as the power issue, did you disconnect the battery before disconnecting the screen?
