Chosen Solution

Hi. I have a strange behavior with my iPhone 5s. If the unit is beeing charged, the screen is going bananas. Touches random apps, and the lower potion of the screen could become unresponsible. When I touch the aluminium, it feels like it´s humming. When I disconnect the charger, the phone would be better, but not completely good. Now the even more strange thing. If my backlight is set to medium, then all the ghost wakes up and the phone becomes a total mess. But if i set the backlight to max, it seems to scare the ghosts away. It is behaving normal, and without problems. I have tried to change the screen 3 times. I have also chosen different “qualities” of screens, but no good. So now I hope some of you guys can give me a solution to this strange problem. For the record. I have not tried to change the battery, but I have tried to clean the connectors/been gentle when mounting the shield/Not mounted the shield at all/powercycled the phone several times. But no can do… Edit: I have also seen these squares at the lower potion of the screen some times, but its random

You don’t really explain what happened to the phone prior to these issues. Was it dropped, water damaged, previous repair attempt, used poor quality chargers etc.? That can make a difference in the diagnostic. It certainly can’t hurt to change the battery but my feeling is the problem is with the logic board. I would start by inspecting it properly, preferably with magnification. Look for any signs of damage, missing components, liquids or residues, heat or smoke stains, loose screws or other conductive object… It appears to have problems with the Touch IC’s but considering you said that the brightness seems to have an impact, it may have to do with the backlight circuit, excessive current draw or something of that nature. If you are comfortable, you could probe around on the main voltage rails and report back.
