This is my second phone with the same problem. I have had a iPhone XR which had ghost touch. I changed to a 7 plus and after using it for awhile. Could someone let me know the cause of this or how to stop it ( yes all updates are updated ). Thanks!

Most times ghost touching on an iPhone 7 comes from a screen replacement, after the housing frame has been bumped and the screen doesn’t sit flush. A bumped housing should be straightened before putting in a new screen. Other than that it might be due to a very poor aftermarket screen quality. There’s nothing that can be done from the software side to fix a hardware issue.
