Bought a new screen for my 12.9 iPad-Pro. Replacement went smoothly, no issues… But when I got it booted back up and used it, I now have a Ghost-touch problem… the iPad responds to touch interactions when no-one is touching it. Removed and re-installed twice now, making sure all connections are properly connected, and all potential shorts are covered with polyamide tape. Still didn’t solve it.. Erased all content and settings, set up as new iPad… Same symptoms… Suggestions?
I would contact ifixit and try to get yourself another screen as the one you have could very well be faulty/defective. If that doesn’t work, let me know and we’ll come to a resolution!!!
