My gf dropped the phone and when she looked at it colors were going everywhere like lines up and down and the screen freaked out and went black. Now when I turn it on there is just red splotches. Is it a motherboard or screen issue?
JDudeMiner mine from your description it sounds like a broken LCD not the motherboard. Replacing the display assembly should fix this problem. Use this guide to fix it.
