Hi i recently rummaged through my Attic, and i found a great condition Longboard. I want to paint it so i removed the wheels and washed it. After it dried i want to get rid of the old green paint. The paint was kind of translucent, there’s wood patterns on the paint. I sanded it because it was the first thing that made sense. I use a 320 sandpaper. wasted an hour and 1 meter of sandpaper :c and i havent gotten through the paint. The paint seemed thick. I want a Clean Wood finish and paint The Great Waves off Kanagawa on it. Do I use a rougher sandpaper or a paint thinner?

Rashy, I’d try some paint remover (not thinner)to loosen the paint. Check this video for the exact instructions. After that I’d use the sand paper.

Definitely not sand paper as it can remove woods too. Also, rubbing sandpaper might rough the polish. So first go for paint thinner then use sand paper lightly.
