My GE profile (GFE28HMHEES) french door dispenser quit working. The dispenser switch clicks, and turns the light on, but zero dispenser activity including water. The top (door) ice maker is not working. The fridge has a new filter and the lower IM is working great. The door close switch seems to be working, it shuts the refridge lights off. I can still select options on the front touch pad and change stuff. Strangely the ability to see & turn on/off the upper ice maker is gone from the display (the one not working). I can turn the lower IM on/off. So I replaced the control board and darn it no change. Hoping there is a good next move… other than calling a GE service rep out.
It was the PCB ASM Door control board ($50). replaced it and all is good. the failed board was also casing my freezer lights to not work… they’re back.
