I am considering replacing the battery in my phone and I am lost on how to reset the battery cycle counter. I cannot find any information how to do it unless the phone is rooted. Is it possible to reset the battery cycle count and how without root? Does resetting the battery cycle count achieve the same thing as doing a battery calibration?
Samsung Approved Repair uses an Anyway JIG for resetting the battery cycle counter. You need to have a Samsung’s Anyway JIG (only for Samsung factories and Approved workshops), connect it to the phone using a IF Test cable and a UART cable to your Windows computer . Then you need to use Samsung’s proprietary Repair/Factory program and authenticate to Samsung servers with GSPN username/password. The Anyway JIG will restart your phone and start the Battery Accumulated Usage Initialization at boot.
Not possible u can reinstall software to reset it through Odin mode.
