I have pix on my camera that I’m trying to upload to my computer in order to load them on Facebook, etc. After connecting the cord to from camera to computer through USB port in front of computer, a message comes up when I hit ‘Import Images, the device selection reads… ‘connect the device (such as camera, or memory card) containing the images you want to import to your computer.
Hi, Have you got either Fuji Finepix Studio or Finepix Viewer installed on your PC. You need to have one of them installed so that your PC can “recognise” and connect to your camera. If you don’t have them installed on your PC and you can’t find the CD, that came with the camera ( it has the application software on it). Then here is a link that will allow you to download Finepix Viewer to install on your PC. http://www.fujifilmusa.com/support/Servi… Once installed your camera should connect to your PC. According to the support page regarding Finepix Studio software it is only an upgrade which doesn’t include the USB drivers, which you need to have. To install this you needed to have an earlier version of the program already installed on your PC.
