thanks.I guess I’ll carry a can of fuel [I suppose it’ll stink a little]. Update (12/08/2016) 93chev k1500.I recently replaced fuel pump.fuel filter,fuel pressure regulator,sparkplugs,and wires.Everything was fine for a couple wks.

melfart6in, There are a few reasons that may cause fuel gage stuck, check the fuse for being blown as a first step. Bad/corroded/loose connections on fuel gage wire/plug(clean and tighten) especially and ground you see, faulty in tank sending unit rheostat(test and replace if defective). Fuel gage defective(test and replace). Use the trouble shooting links below for more info on diagnosing, testing and repair of fuel gage. Good luck.
