Chosen Solution
After replacing the battery in my iPhone 6, earpiece speaker and front-facing camera didn’t work. Apparently the most common problem is that I might have torn the camera/sensor cable . So I ordered a new one and installed. Sadly I still have the same problem— earpiece speaker and FF camera don’t work. Is it possible there’s something else going on here? Any suggestions much appreciated. BTW the cable replacement guide at iPhone 6 Front-Facing Camera and Sensor Cable Replacement rates this operation as “moderate” but I would rate it “difficult” due to the fiddliness of cables, sensors, etc.
I would check the connector on the board. Make sure there are no bent pins and it is clean also that it is seated properly when connected. This should fix your problem unless you have disturbed a component near the connector or didn’t disconnect the battery when working on the phone.
