Chosen Solution

Hi all, Hoping someone can help me here because I’m running out of options. After replacing the front panel of my friend’s phone, the front camera is much lighter than it should be - it’s not blurry or anything, it just seems like the white balance is completely wrong. Rear camera is fine. I’ve cleaned the lens with a microfibre cloth - no change. I’ve checked what it looks like not through the front panel (turning the phone on when half open) and it looks the same, so the front glass isn’t dirty. Any idea what could be causing it? Also, does anyone have a detailed picture of the inside of an iPhone 5s? Two of the pins on the front camera socket look a bit strange, but they still look very uniform and I’m not convinced it’s damaged. Thanks in advance. Tom

Guessing it’s either you damaged the camera, while doing the repair. It’s not properly seated on the socket connector, or you’ve broken the socket, on the logic board. That’s just me, maybe it’s something else… [linked product missing or disabled: IF124-025-1]

That caused by the camera is not center..
