I’m replacing the front screen and digitizer on my iPhone SE and on removing the old one I accidentally tore the heat shield ground sticker from the flex conecter the flex connected is still in one piece it just ripped of right where it comes off it to go to the ground piece so my question is will the new screen still work without the flex cable connected to the ground? If not please advise how to repair thanks
These tend to tear pretty easily if your not fully concentrated. You shouldn’t notice any difference whether it’s connected or not. Just see if you can stick as closely to the shield as possible.
