Hi guys can you please answer i really need it what is the functions of thos gold pins in the sensor connector one of it broke /Missing . What this Gold pins for ? Nothing happens on the Phone itself front camera or whatsoever .Is their other things that connector is doing for the phone sometimes the phone freezes when not in use for a long time. Depends on which pin broke then I can tell you what it specifically does. Phone freeze, do you refer to the touch screen completely stop working? Could be due to a bad screen replacement (Usually either bad screen or screen was forced in with dented in iPhone metal housing frame). You should take a photo of the connector on the board and post it here. Update (05/28/2017) Okay so those two pins are used to provide power to the camera so those are definitely needed for the front camera to work.
The red rectangle in the image below are the pins that are damaged. Since this is most likely physical damage you will need to get the connector replaced by someone that does micro soldering: http://prntscr.com/fcycka
