Hello, Recently I have replaced iPhone 6 screen. The problem I have now is that Rear and the Back camera does not work, flash-light as well. It looks like everything else apart these works fine. Then I turn on them, they are just completely black. I tried those cameras on other iPhone 6 and they did work. I tried to erase the content of iPhone but it did not help. Right now I am giving a try on DFU mode and will update what is happening. Somehow I believe that I occidentally shortened with static charge. Anyone else any thoughts on this? Thank you for your help.
Looks I am lucky as DFU mode sorted everything out. However, I assume that it was a step from disaster.
Sounds like board level issue. I’d have to look up iPhone 6 but on iPhone 5 it was the compass ic that was damage somehow & it controls both camera functions.
