I have two MacBook pros 15 inch unibody, one of them has a screen that’s going bad and the other one has a failing GPU, I was wondering if I were to remove the logic board on the one with the failing screen and place it into the other Mac would it run properly or would I need to do some prerequisite steps?
Nothing special to be done for a simple logic board swap, disconnect battery as first thing only and follow the logic board replacement guide for disconnecting connectors guidance, that’s all.
