I am having four white vertical lines and phone keeps rebooting with the logo. I went to fix this at a mobile repair shop and the technician said the white lines are due to damaged screen but continuously rebooting looks likes a hardware or a battery issue. I would please like to know if the technician was correct or will a screen replacement actually solve the problem. Thanks!

You could try disconnecting the screen and then connecting it to an iTunes enabled computer. If the phone is still boot-looping, then yes, you have a logic board issue. If it boots normally, then you have a a defective screen that is causing the problem.
