installed 1TB hard drive, loaded snow leapard disk ,used disk utility. After loading cannot find hard drive icon and starts up for a new install mode. Where are apps and where is hard drive? Tried booting 3 times
Double check your connections to the HD to ensure you do not have a lose connection. Use Menu->TOOLS->Disk Utility:Disk First Aid to verify, format the disk. Remember: you MUST CHOOSE GUID partition to create an intel boot disk. If no HD shows up in the DU sidebar you have a serious problem. Use Startup Disk to select the Boot Drive.
