Turned camera on and heard a loud pop. Removed and charged NP-BG1 battery. Reinstalled charged battery, but battery discharged rapidly. Bought new NP-FG1 battery, charged battery, installed battery and got “E91:01 error code with flash symbol flashing on LCD screen. Camera takes pictures, but flash does not flash. I suspect the capacitor blew when the loud pop was heard. Any suggestions? Where can I buy a replacement capacitor without buying the entire flash unit? THANKS in advance.

Dick, the error code that you are getting is related to an issue with the flash or light on your camera. There are a two things that may have made that noise, Either your flash bulb, or your flash capacitor.
