i changed the lightning port of my iphone now when i turn it on it shows the high temperature advice even with the phone totally cold. when fixing the phone i slightly break the battery peel but no more than that. how can i fix that? can the battery explode for some reason?

There are multiple temperature sensors inside the phone. One of them believes the temperature is high and is giving you the warning. Does the warning state what part of the phone is hot, like say the camera? A defective charge port could be an issue so you could always try to plug in the original charge port (no need to fully install it, just disconnect the new one and overlay and connect the original). Because you have damaged the battery outer layer, you may have also caused some additional accidental damage. A close visual inspection, preferably with magnification is needed. If nothing obvious stands out, you may want to consider having this looked at by an experienced micro-solderer.
