Hi there team! having a little issue that i cant seem to shake. and i REALLY want to fix this, So my stores worked on thousands of phones . 12.5K to be more accurate. And this week we are having an issue we havent encountered before. I have had four iphone 6 come back, that we did back in march. we replaced the screen, and now the backlight doesnt work at all. no matter if we replace the screen. those screens function fine on another iphone 6 we have for testing, so the screen hasnt gone bad, but the only cominality behind the failures, is our screen replacements. im curious if there is something i can do to fix these issues when they come in? @refectio is a great tech who has helped me quite a bit and would suggest investing in ZXW tool (with Dongle). I have included the diagram you are asking for :)
I know this question has been answered but it might be worth checking the actual screens ur using and any screens that come into the shop the contacts for the backlight are usually covered with a black tape a lot of the backlight jobs we get in are when the black tape is running over the metal plate and the solder points of the backlight (on the screen) are touching the metal shield so to avoid future backlight failures insure the tape is installed correctly and the join isn’t shorting on the plate :)
