Chosen Solution
When i turn on may macbook g4 14" the sound of fan start, the light of capslock turn on, but nothing happen. The display is black. I tried start with a “T” button, with another macbook. Nothing. The problem must be motherboard or hd? thanks. (is most important to me save the hd)
This is (most likely) a problem with the motherboard. I’ve had a couple Apple laptops die, and this is what they always do. Does the “F5” key turn on the “Num Lock” light? Your hard drive, and data should be safe, and you can remove the drive using this guide (I’m assuming that you’re talking about a 14" iBook G4)
