Chosen Solution
The PS4 fan is running really loud and fast after cleaning the fan and the heatsink, I didn’t touch the thermal paste because it wasn’t a problem and the thermal pada are correctly placed on. The PS4 itself doesn’t overheat and isn’t hot to touch but the fan goes crazy when I play a game.
Since the heatsink was removed you need to replace the thermal paste. Old thermal paste can’t be reused because it is giving bad contact to the heat spreader and processor.
