I have recently opened up my mac and fixed the wobbling screen issue and replaced the harddrive with a SSD. From then, I started noticing that the fan noise is picked up by the internal microphone and its being hard for someone to hear my voice on facetime. Are there any chances that I spoiled any hardware when I opened the mac and that is causing the issue..? If so, how do I fix it.?
Recheck your reassembly - look for lose, misrouted wires/cables. Snug the fan screws, blow off any dust on the fan blades. FWIW a voice quality headset/microphone will also cure your ills.
