I was replacing the HD in my new 2011 Mac Mini with an SSD, somehow I managed to break the fan connector attached to the logic board. Is it possible to order a new connector and have it repaired somehow? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Joe
First I don’t think the part will be available for some time if ever. Second you are looking at a serious board repair requiring some very expensive equipment and a high skill level to do the repair. You might try googling mac logic board repair and see if you can find someone who can do it for a price less than a new logic board.
