i use mac mini mid 2010 and recently tried installing high sierra but failed updating. Now when i open my macmini it shows installizing but after few minutes it says error occurred installing macos. I use wiressless keyboard for my macmini so i am not able to press any buttons. I went to the apple service center but they said it would cost me $40 and all my files would be removed. Do you have any suggestions?
Do you have a friend with a Mac? If you do see if they can create an OS installer drive following this guide: How to create a bootable macOS High Sierra installer drive. You’ll still need access to a USB keyboard so you can tell the system to boot to the USB installer drive holding the Option key. Reference: Mac startup key combinations
