Chosen Solution
Can anyone help me with the exact screw sizes. I have taken them out but some of the screw heads have stripped. I have tried to measure them with a ruler, but this is not specific enough. (They could be metric or imperial) I’d prefer to replace them with torx screws so this doesn’t happen again, but I need the correct size, depth and width. ASUS refuse to tell me anything let alone the correct sizes. I can buy packets of replacements, but I fear they are the same bad quality I already have and they’ll be Philips again. Please help…. Hi @disabled , I think that the X555UJ is essentially the same as the F555UJ model. Here’s a list of all the screws and their sizes used in an X555UJ laptop. Unfortunately it doesn’t state which screw goes where but maybe this will be of some use to you.
